Job Title: Care Manager Job Specialty: Nursing - Care Coordinator Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8-hour varied shifts, starting as early as 8am. May fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. Weekdays, with rotation through weekends and holidays as required. Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years current experience in specialty is required. At least one prior 13-week travel assignment. License: Current nursing license required. Certifications: BLS certification required, must be completed through recognized organizations such as the American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross. Must-Have: - UR Inpatient/Acute Care Experience (minimum, current 12-months) - Team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment - EPIC experience required; Xsolis experience preferred Job Description: - Conduct care management and coordination for inpatient and acute care cases. - Contribute positively in a fast-paced environment while ensuring quality care. - Assist with fulfilling department staffing needs, which may involve floating to other areas as needed and within the scope of practice. - Participate in an orientation during the first week of the contract; it includes EPIC training and will not exceed 40 total hours. - Wear provided scrubs; note that they are not supplied by the facility. - Travelers will be prioritized to float within the facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of the permanent assigned location. - Holiday coverage is required, and requests for time off during holidays will not be approved for travelers.
