role youll lead a team that enables HR systems, data, HR technology
to deliver programs, initiatives, business solutions. You will
collaborate with HR, COEs, Technology, Legal and third-party
suppliers. Oversee day-to-day support, planning for releases,
upgrades, project management, system enhancements of modules.
Provide strategic input on system design options and supporting
processes. Partner with functional process owners, release cycles
to align resources and scope to project milestones. Deliver team
goals while fully configuring, developing, and supporting UKG
(Legacy Kronos).Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages systems analysis, software design, architecture,
integration, configuration, testing, and production support.
- Hands on develops, configures, tests, deploys and improves
product services related to accruals, attestation, scheduling, time
keeping, and device management (clocks/mobile).
- Manages application support and enhancement projects working
with the HR Technology team, HR Process Owners and other
stakeholders.
- Conducts intake and coordination of the design, build, test,
and deploy phases of the application in accordance with established
governance.
- Change control leads for planning releases, upgrades, patches,
and configuration across the assigned Oracle module(s)/HR
application(s).
- Leads meetings and resolves priority issues with functional
leaders/business stakeholders.
- Communicates change impacts to functional and change partners
in support of change management.
- Mentors and leads development team members and promotes
continuous learning.
- Builds a successful team and effective working relationships is
a priority.
- Owns weekly status reporting, risk & issue log, and application
updates.
- Escalates risk issues for projects, deliverables, timelines, or
day to day support.
- Drives project plan deliverables for standardization,
simplification, and alignment of business processes.
- Manages engagement with external vendors for support,
enhancements, roadmap discussions and issue
reporting/escalation.
- Manages configuration of application according to design
requirements and specifications.
- Works with Functional team to optimize processes and evolve to
best meet business needs
- Manages Tier 2 support escalations and issue resolution,
supports change management with system information.Manager
Responsibilities
- Responsible for management of at least one direct report and is
considered a leader on the HR Tech team giving direction and
feedback to members.
- Manages application support and enhancement projects working
with the HR Technology team, HR Process Owners, and other
stakeholders.
- Provides formal assistance such as technical guidance and/or
training to coworkers.
- Will coach and mentor less-experienced personnel and act as
team leader on more complicated systems projects.QualificationsThe
requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications
necessary to perform the job.A. Education and Experience
- Bachelors Degree (accredited), in MIS, CS or similar area of
study, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED
(accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience.
- Eight (8) years of previous experience (in addition to the
education requirement)B. Preferred Experience
- 8 years of experience with UKG (Legacy Kronos) Workforce
Central, or Dimensions.
- Experience with WIM Interface Programming.
- Database queries, extract calculations, formulas, complex
commands, stored procedures and functions. (Oracle SQL)
- Configuration experience in accruals, attestation, scheduling,
and time keeping.
- RDL and Visual Studio
