Job Description:
OverviewProvide leadership of the Materials Management and Linen
department for hospital and outpatient clinic facility; plan,
direct and coordinate the operational, personnel and financial
activities of Supply Services and Linen. Oversee all services
provided to ensure that patients and departmental needs are
effectively met. -Type of Opportunity: Full Time FTE: 1Exempt: Yes
Work Schedule: Weekday Schedule Monday-FridayQualificationsMinimum
Qualifications: - High school diploma or General Equivalency
Diploma (GED); AND, specialized, short-term training in purchasing,
inventory control and materials management. -Experience: - Three
(3) years of management experience hospital/Materials Management
setting.ResponsibilitiesAssure mission, goals and strategy of
department are being met via strategic planning, coaching,
operational and financial accountability in areas of
responsibility. Ensure the delivery of quality services to patients
and departments. - Ensure departmental compliance with PHS/hospital
established policies, JCAHO, State licensure and other regulatory
standards; safety, environmental and legal requirements; infection
control policies and procedures. Participate in Performance
