DescriptionU.S. Bank is strengthening its focus on Environmental,
Social and Governance (ESG) to align with stakeholder expectations
and set a strong standard amongst peers. The ESG Program Office
team is responsible for delivering in three critical areas: (1)
Enterprise-Wide ESG strategy, transformation, and integration (2)
reporting and disclosures (3) external partnerships and engagement.
The ESG Program office is part of U.S. Banks Corporate Social
Responsibility Team.The ESG Program Manager helps deliver on U.S.
Banks ESG strategy through partnerships with key business lines and
outside experts, developing and implementing programs to achieve
key business outcomes. These outcomes include: staying on par with
our peers, reducing ESG risk, identifying business opportunities,
driving awareness of ESG criteria and potential impact and
opportunities for U.S. Bank, ensuring thoughtful and consistent
communication around U.S. Banks ESG efforts, and encouraging
employee engagement. These outcomes are achieved through
participation in key working groups and other business line touch
point opportunities, participation in external peer group
opportunities, and staying up to date on industry and internal
developments that may impact U.S. Banks ESG strategy.Collaborating
across functions and acting as a subject matter expert, the ESG
Program Office manager executes medium and large-scale, complex
programs and projects to integrate ESG criteria into the company's
business strategy and operations. The ESG Program Manager will also
serve as a key subject matter expert regarding U.S. Banks ESG
strategy, pulling together data across the companyBasic
Qualifications:-Requires a bachelors degree
- At least six years of project management or a related field of
work.Preferred Skills/Experience:-- Strong data management and
reporting skills are preferred.-A working knowledge in ESG
rating/evaluation systems and frameworks is required.-Strong
interpersonal and influencing skills as well as proven project
management and communication skills.Responsibilities include:
- Manages GHG emissions reporting including managing Scope 1, 2,
and 3 emissions calculations for internal and external
reporting.
- Supports ESG reporting and disclosure to meet regulations and
commitments including TCFD and CDP, supports development of ESG
content for inclusion in Enterprise ESG report and disclosures
- Identify, track, and report against external commitments.
- Manage and/or participate in other aspects of reporting and
disclosure, data assurance processes, employee engagement and
internal status reporting.
- Maintain strong relationships within the industry, government
and NGOs and other external stakeholders to understand how the
overall landscape is evolving, and how USBs strategy should evolve
with it,
- Identifying gaps and opportunities in USBs ESG strategy,
Providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Stay abreast of the current risk environment and work with
business line risk partners to evaluate risk and assess U.S. Banks
current policy.
- Stays informed on the changing landscape of ESG including
emerging trends, stakeholder expectations, and rating/ranking
criteria
- Constantly benchmark and monitor trends to improve U.S. Banks
ESG standing
- Lead and/or participate in strategic approach and annual
responses to rating and ranking entities.-Identify opportunities
for expanded disclosure, gain alignment from internal decision
makers
- Works with senior leaders (externally and internally) and

.The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location,
which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ
based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank
offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and
recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and
pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay
Range: $112,880.00 - $132,800.00 - $146,080.00Due to legal
