CrossroadsDescription of Responsibilities:This position is
responsible for coordinating patient care and personal needs while
admitted to detox and upon discharge, and increase patient
engagement in an appropriate level of care to address substance use
disorders. Position also responsible for ensuring continuity of
care through detox stay and post discharge. Position reports to
Residential Manager and assists Manager with day-to-day
administrative tasks that support consistent patient
care.Supervisory responsibilities: NoPhysical demands:Employee must
occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Employee is
frequently required to walk, sit, stand, or kneel and occasionally
required to climb or balance and stoop. Must have ability to sit
for longer periods of time at a computer. Employee must be able to
travel between AHS locations. May be exposed to stressful
situations that involve enraged, distraught and/or intoxicated
individuals with possible mental disorders. Possible potential
exposure to communicable disease. The noise level in the work
environment is usually moderate. Reasonable accommodations may be
made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the
essential functions.Shifts, Breaks & Meal Periods: Employee is
scheduled to work four ten hour shifts and two ten-minute paid
breaks are included and a 30-minute (paid) meal period to be
scheduled on site no later than 5 hours after the start of the
shift.Travel required: YesRequired Experience:Required Education
and Experience Minimum Education: Under-graduate degree.
Degree/level: Bachelor'sPreferred Education and
ExperienceEducation: Master's Degree in health or human
service-related areaDegree/level: Master'sMinimum Certification:
CASMinimum Experience:2 years' experience in a substance use
disorder treatment settingDetox work experienceMust be
knowledgeable regarding patient health information and HIPAA
compliance.Must be organized and demonstrate the ability to follow
guidelines. Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and
communication skills.Must demonstrate the ability to be
self-directed.Required Skills: A working knowledge of treatment
approaches and their application to clients with emotional,
behavioral, vocational and/or substance use disorder problems
(including detox protocol). Knowledge and ability to operate
standard office equipment including scanner, computer, calculator,
copy machine, fax, and multi-line telephone. Working knowledge of
Windows based computer applications including MS Word, MS Excel, MS
Outlook, and ability to access the internet. Ability to be helpful
and sensitive to the needs of all employees, while concurrently
respecting corporate policies, procedures, and priorities.
Interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain
effective working relationships with all internal and external
customers. Ability to communicate job-related information to
individuals and small groups. Ability to work independently with
minimal supervision; plan own work schedule effectively and
multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced setting. Ability to
multi-task, organize and prioritize workload in a sometimes-hectic
environment with frequent interruptions. Ability to concentrate in
sometimes hectic and stressful settings. Ability to read and
understand written materials. Must regard work as confidential.
Must have current driver's license, qualify for commercial vehicle
insurance, and maintain a driving record that allows insurability
with AHS' insurance agency. Occasional travel required Ability to
take on additional duties when necessary.Additional eligibility

Vaccination Status, BLS certification required, CPI Training w/in
