Full-time Salary Position ranging $55k-$65k DOE plus benefits. Located in Santa Fe, NM. Working out of our Eldorado Hotel & Spa. Position Purpose: The Spa Director will under the direction of the General Manager leadership, maintain the quality and exceptional guest experience of all Heritage Spa Facilities. The Spa Director is an essential support to Heritage Hotels & Resorts in creating unforgettable experiences for guests. Supervisory Responsibilities: Spa Supervisors / staff at all property Essential Duties and Functions/Responsibilities/Tasks:

• Work under direction of the Regional / GM leadership.
• Maintain positive and professional approach with employees, coworkers, and guests.
• Communicate regularly with all spa staff on properties regarding job assignments and required timeframe for teams for workflow.
• Perform interview, hire, disciplinary, and termination actions when necessary for spa staff.
• Establish and supervise system of controls to ensure that maximum standards of service are maintained.
• Set goals for performance that coincide with Heritage's plans and vision.
• Assign, train and direct spa staff to carry out the basic program as set up and design such to give the maximum efficiency in performance.
• Follow all safety and health regulations including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) protocol policies.
• Ensure property compliance with legal, safety, operations, labor, and the Heritage brand product and service standards.
• Interact with guests and on a frequent basis to obtain feedback of their experiences on property; utilize guest feedback to recognize excellent team member service performance and improve service delivery.
• Maintain spa rooms and public areas in a clean, comfortable and saleable condition, including front of house areas.
• Review occupancy levels / booked spa appointments and staff labor accordingly.
• Supervise inventory system for supplies, equipment, and merchandise. When needed establish reorder levels and keep records.
• Review linen inventory and oversee laundry operations.
• Collaborate with Accounting Department regularly to ensure supplies and equipment are paid for and in the general ledger appropriately.
• Meet with vendors and contractors to learn about new products and services offered.
• Oversee / Carry out deep cleaning tasks and special projects.
• Other duties as assigned consistent with the functions of this position as needed at any of the properties. Requirements
  • Must be a passionate people person, as this job is highly interactive and requires superb customer service skills.
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality software and MS Office required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to multitask.
  • Proven leadership experience in a hotel setting, with a passion to provide exemplary guest service.
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays and late nights.
  • Competent with computer technology to easily learn reservation management system, the point of sale system to process payments, and Microsoft Office Suite for basic document manipulation and printing.
  • Ability to work on your feet for eight hours or more.
  • Must be able to lift/push/reach for/carry 30+ pounds frequently.
  • 3-5 year or equivalent combination of education and experience; hotel management or hospitality experience preferred.
