Job Description:
Pecos-Barstow-Toyah ISD - Director of Finance/Business Manager
Description/Notes: Direct and manage the business operations of the
district including accounting, payroll, purchasing, and tax
collection. Perform advanced accounting work relating to the
preparation, administration, and control of the District's
financial resources. Qualifications: Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, or other related fields RTSBA
Certification or equivalent preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of budgeting, accounting
systems, and payroll processing, including governmental accounting
and auditing principles established by the Governmental Accounting
System Board (GASB) Working knowledge of financial applications and
accounting Ability to use software to develop spreadsheets and
perform data analysis Ability to implement policy and procedures
Ability to analyze and interpret financial data Ability to manage
budget and personnel Strong organizational, communication, public
relations, and interpersonal skills
Experience: Two (2) years experience in school business management
or public organization
Salary Range: Negotiable Benefits: daycare, housing (when
available) 5% matching annuity, $555/month for health insurance,
competitive salaries
