MEP/HVAC Project Engineer Position Overview The MEP/HVAC Project
Engineer is responsible for managing and overseeing the mechanical,
electrical, and plumbing aspects of commercial construction
projects. This role involves ensuring that all systems are
designed, installed, and functioning according to project
specifications and within budget and schedule. Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage MEP/HVAC project design and implementation from
inception to completion. Collaborate with architects, contractors,
and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design
specifications and local codes. Prepare and review project plans,
specifications, and submittals related to MEP systems. Coordinate
with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of
materials and services. Assist in the preparation of project
budgets, schedules, and reports to track progress and costs.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to MEP/HVAC systems during
construction and commissioning phases. Qualifications Bachelor's
degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a
related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in MEP or HVAC
project engineering in commercial construction. Strong knowledge of
MEP systems design, installation, and code compliance. Proficiency
in engineering software and tools related to MEP systems. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
with team members and stakeholders. - For this position, you must
be currently authorized to work in the United States without the
