Integration Department, is seeking a highly qualified R& D
Electrical Engineer tojoin their team to develop, integrate, and
test new and existing electrical flight systems for various
National Defense Programs.On any given day, one may be called upon
to:Work as a member of hard-working, passionate, multi-disciplinary
teams to develop and demonstrate advanced hypersonic flight systems
and technologiesDesign, analyze, integrate, test, and demonstrate
electronics and avionic flight and ground systems for a variety of
advanced prototypical aerospace flight systems, including
hypersonic vehicles, rockets, missiles, and reentry body
payloadsPresent, design, analysis, and test results to internal and
external customersDevelop and implement test plans, assembly
procedures, and other work instructions for flight system
components, assemblies, and other hardware/softwarePeriodically
travel to support integration and test activities at off-site
locationsSome travel is required for this position.Qualifications
We RequireA Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering,
Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a relevant STEM
fieldA willingness and ability to travel periodically to support
off-site integration and test activitiesThe ability to acquire and
maintain a DOE Q-level security clearanceQualifications We DesireA
proven technical background and experience in the design,
integration, and testing of complex electronic components and
systemsExperience using high level programming languages (e.G., C,
C++, and Java)Experience using MATLAB for data analysisExperience
designing, fabricating, integrating, and operating flight-grade
electronics and avionics systemsExperience developing and
implementing test and instrumentation methods to include software
and application design and development, automation, or system test
applications to assess and evaluate complex electronic systemsA
familiarity with Hardware-In-The-Loop or Software-In-The-Loop
systemsA proven ability and interest in learning and developing new
technical skillsThe ability to collaborate and contribute as a

DOD Top SecretAbout Our TeamThe Electrical Systems Integration
Department provides expertise and technical leadership in the
design, development, test, and demonstration of pathfinder
aerospace flight systems, including missiles, rocket systems,
hypersonic flight vehicles, and reentry bodies. Our staff members
are integral flight test project team members and are active in
multi-disciplinary mission planning, system integration and
testing, flight test execution, and post-test analysis of
hypersonic and rocket flight vehicles and technology
development/maturation payloads. We provide technical program
development and novel design engineering, assembly, integration,
and testing of the electrical/avionics and ground support systems
needed to actively expand and develop next-generation flight
concepts. Flight systems developed by our team demonstrate
pathfinder hypersonic technologies and advanced and prototypical
launch vehicle and reentry system capabilities for the U.S.
Department of Energy defense programs, U.S. Department of Defense,
Missile Defense Agency, DARPA, NASA, and industry partners.About
