Job Description: We are seeking an energetic Chemical Engineer
focused on process development and quantum dot manufacturing as a
member of the Chemistry Team. This is a newly formed position at
the company and involves scale-up and chemical process engineering
for quantum dot production. The new hire will personally develop
and cultivate laboratory skills and help manage a production
process, while coordinating with the Products Team. This position
requires being onsite in Los Alamos, New Mexico, standing for
extended periods of time, and occasionally lifting heavy objects.

Job Requirements --- Bachelor's (or higher) degree in chemistry,
chemical engineering, materials, or similar --- Experience with
safe handling of hazardous materials in a chemistry lab setting ---
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision --- Ability
to organize/analyze data and draw conclusions from technical data
--- Strong scientific record keeping abilities --- Ability to pay
attention to detail --- Excellent written and verbal communication
skills --- Residence in or re-location to Los Alamos, New Mexico
--- Eligibility to work in the United States, and over the age of
18
Desired Experience --- Chemical industry background ---
Semiconductor nanocrystal science, or quantum dots synthesis ---
Chemical process development, hazard safety analysis --- Handling
of air-free chemicals, Schlenk line chemistry --- Working in a high
growth environment (eg, venture capital backed small business) ---
Chemistry lab upkeep and maintenance, equipment repair
