(GRS) is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, detail orientated, and
talented individual for the position of Construction Surveillance
Technician II. Job Description: Summary: The Construction
Surveillance Technician II’s primary function is to provide
“day-to-day” support for Sensitive Compartmented Information
Facility(SCIF) and Special Access Program Facility(SAP)
construction efforts. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Assesses, identifies and communications recommendations for
improvements of policies, procedures, or systems. Identifies
threats, vulnerabilities, and potential risks. Drafts security
incident reports and briefs government and civilian agencies
including military senior leaders Manages uniformed escort
personnel and associated logs; assigns trains, briefs site security
duties and ensures timely reporting of security incidents to site
lead. Follow and enforce customers’ Standard Operating Procedures
(SOP) Perform miscellaneous administrative support functions as
directed by the contractor site lead and/or the Senior Security
Representative. Shall conduct inspections of materials being
delivered for utilization in construction of security spaces. Will
photograph and continuously monitor the construction of secure
spaces and document all steps in order to support final
accreditation packets Provide leadership, mentoring, and oversight
of team members Requirement: Three (3) to Five (5) years related
experience Bachelor’s Degree in a related area or equivalent (4
years) experience Security Fundamentals Professional Certification
(SFPC) counts towards 3 years of experience. Special Program
Security Certification (SPSC) counts towards 5 years of experience.
Maximum equivalent experience for SPED Certifications is no more
than 5 years. Security Requirements: Current Top Secret Clearance
with SCI Eligibility Eligibility for access to Special Access
Programs Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence Polygraph
Skills: Knowledgeable on Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705
(on SCIFs and compliance with uniform IC physical and technical
security requirements) Must be familiar with security
policy/manuals and the appropriate DCIDs/JAFANs and other guiding
policy documents Must have the ability to work in a dynamic
environment and effectively interact with numerous DOD,
military/civilian personnel and industry partners Working knowledge
of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) Possess a high
degree of originality, creativity, initiative requiring minimal
supervision Willingness to travel within the organizational
geographic Area of Responsibility (AOR) (note - could be extensive,
and will include both air and ground transportation) Physical
Requirements : This position requires employees to be willing and
able to: sit, bend, reach, stoop, squat, stand, and walk.
Communication: Excellent customer service via phone and face to
face conversation, excellent written and oral command of English.
