Compensation: This is an exempt position. Compensation will vary based on experience.

In partnership with the General Manager and Creative Director the Senior Creative Producer is part of the Creative Leadership team responsible for achieving and maintaining the artistic and creative vision and for ensuring the implementation of that vision through the project life cycle. The producer is the day to day manager of the Creative team, creating staffing plans, managing creative efforts, ensuring all deliverables are being met, while working closely with, and collaborating with, the Project Leaders to achieve common and cohesive objectives. The Senior Creative Producer must be proficient in guiding and articulating the concepts and the experiences that define the project's creative vision and to motivate the involved teams who are responsible for providing input and support to its development. They must be steadfast and strategic as they work within Meow Wolf's highly ambitious, collaborative model.

How you will do it...

• Reports to SVP of Creative Design and Production and the Chief Exhibitions Officer. Is a Project Leader in partnership with the General Manager and Creative Director.
• Define scope of Creative Deliverables by phase, adhering to the Scope, Schedule, and Budget defined by the Project Leadership.
• Develop resource staffing plans, estimates, and schedules for Creative Deliverables in collaboration with the project team and exhibition leadership. Coordinate with the General Manager about any potential facility impacts that might be driven by creative ideas.
• Ensure all Creative Team members, Creative Direction, Narrative, Graphics, Concept Art, and consultants and any other collaborating party are executing all Creative deliverables on schedule and within the agreed budget.
• Effectively manages Creative budgets and schedules throughout the whole scope of the project in collaboration with Project Teams.
• Collaborate with team leadership to prioritize Creative scope of project and Creative delivery options.
• Communicate clear and concise project Creative updates to all Project Leadership
• Maintains Presentation and Communication materials, and phase presentation developments.
• Maintains Phase Creative documentation as applicable. Blue Sky, Concept, DD.
• Hire outside Creative Consultants as required to support the creative strategy
• Maintains open lines of communication between all divisions of work
• Responsible for contracting temporary contract labor as needed to support the project.
• Manage time effectively between each location assignment and the needs of those teams To be successful in this role...
  • Thorough knowledge of creative process and deliverables, including artwork, art curation as well as an understanding of potential operational impacts
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with immersive group entertainment and/or art curation
  • Ability to read & comment on architectural & show drawings
  • Experience with exhibition installs & schedules
  • Extensive knowledge of scope, schedule and budget planning and mitigation
  • Effectively articulate creative intent and artistic vision to all levels of the Meow Wolf organization
  • Develop strong partnerships across all project stakeholders and hold space for artistic contribution from all Meow Wolf team members.
  • Able to produce Creative Staffing Plans, linked to a scope and budget
  • Must be able to travel to each location when necessary
  • Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote and some Photoshop
  • Must have strong communication skills and ability to manage across multiple project teams at all times
  • Must be able to support artists that might be unfamiliar with construction standards or building requirements in order to have an engaging and successful experience with Meow Wolf
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills, organizational as well as creative thinking
  • Excellent understanding of Location Based / Themed Entertainment industries and their production pipelines
  • 10+ years of experience in creative enterprises including Location Based Themed Entertainment Experiences or Attraction
  • Experience shepherding high budget multimedia productions from ideation to completion
  • Comfortable leading a team of artists & crafters, designers and writers. Work environment & physical demands...
    • Office and warehouse depending on the needs of a project or initiative; possible exposure to loud noises.
    • Physical Demands: Standing or sitting for long periods of time; ability to lift up to 20 lbs. The employee will comply with company and OSHA standard workplace safety protocols.

    • Work Schedule
    • This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
