POSITION TITLE: Marketing ManagerREPORTS TO: SVP of Communication, Development, & RiskSUPERVISES: Digital Marketing Specialist, Graphic DesignerJOB STATUS: ExemptJOB GRADE: 13: $69,140.02 to $103,710.02 annuallyJOB SUMMARY:The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans for State Employees Credit Union. They inspire their team and peers with clear communication and strategies to meet the goals and objectives of the Credit Union. In addition, they ensure the marketing activities comply with State ECU standards of quality, policies, as well as external rules and regulations. The Marketing Manager is a leader who loves the rewarding challenge of building a brand, culture, and experiences for our membership and staff.Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and report on the annual marketing plan and budget in alignment with the strategic goals of the credit union.
  • Conceptualize and execute multichannel campaigns across the prospect and member lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels.
  • Lead the marketing team to meet goals and deadlines. Develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet strategic objectives and brand standard.
  • Manage content and updates for all marketing communication, collaborate with various departments, and provide sales and training support.
  • Lead the execution of marketing programs and campaigns from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration.
  • Coordinate marketing strategies with the sales, training, lending, compliance, management, operations and other identified stakeholders.
  • Form and maintain relationships with various media outlets, agencies, vendors.
  • Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets.
  • Provide updates for senior leadership on the progress of marketing activities and reporting on the results of campaigns.
  • Analyze data, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies and plans for effective execution.
  • Lead market research efforts to uncover the viability of current and future offers and marketing channels.
  • Maintain marketing compliance, regulatory adherence, and media filing system.Required Skills/Abilities:
    • Can develop strategies and tactics in key marketing disciplines, branding, digital, social, video, analytics, design, and experiential.
    • Strong project management, multitasking, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communicator and collaborative leader.
    • Intimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels.
    • Budget-management skills and proficiency.
    • Analytical skills to identify marketing and credit union trends, challenges, and opportunities.
    • Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity.Education/Experience:
      • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing Communication or the equivalent certification, training, accreditation, and/or experience in a relevant field.
      • Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience required.
      • Experience in financial services marketing is beneficial but not mandatory.
      • Understanding of regulatory compliance and disclosures in advertising.General Requirements:Must be capable to execute all terms and conditions set forth in the Employee Handbook, including but not limited to:

          • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
          • Some standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, bending and lifting.
          • Must be able to lift 20 pounds at times with occasional lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 15 pounds.
