Do you have at least five years of accounting experience supporting a controller with month-end, payroll, and analysis? We are looking for a Senior accounting professional for a direct hire job opportunity in San Jose, CA. The ideal candidate will have extensive accounting experience, excellent GAAP knowledge, and be able to thrive in a team-oriented group. If you are interested in more information please apply now! Key Responsibilities Process and manage payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. Prepare and review monthly financial statements, reconciliations, and journal entries. Support month-end and year-end close, ensuring deadlines and reporting standards are met. Maintain the general ledger and ensure proper recording of financial transactions. Assist with audits by preparing documentation and supporting internal controls. Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance accounting processes and improve operational efficiency. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5 years of progressive accounting experience. Hands-on payroll processing experience required. Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal control principles. Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel. Ability to meet tight deadlines with high attention to detail.
