Job Description Job Description Job Title: Tax Preparer / CPA Employment Type: Full-Time Work Location: In-person Schedule: Monday to Friday Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable CPA or Tax Preparer with significant hands-on tax preparation experience to join a fast-paced accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tax regulations and financial concepts, along with the ability to deliver excellent client service. Extensive experience in tax preparation is required. This role is critical in supporting clients with accurate, compliant tax filings while also providing tax-related guidance and support. Key Responsibilities Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses Analyze financial documents to determine accurate tax liabilities Provide guidance on tax-related questions and financial matters Stay current with federal and state tax laws and regulatory changes Apply technical accounting knowledge to ensure compliance with applicable standards Assist clients in organizing and gathering required tax documentation Perform data entry tasks efficiently, including 10-key input Collaborate with team members on complex tax matters, including corporate accounting scenarios Maintain strict confidentiality of client information and adhere to ethical standards Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in tax preparation or a related field Strong understanding of tax regulations and technical accounting principles Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to analyze financial statements and apply financial concepts Proficiency with QuickBooks software High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications CPA designation or EA license Experience with corporate accounting (preferred but not required) Company Description Synectics is a leading staffing and workforce solutions company dedicated to connecting exceptional talent with top organizations.
