Job Details Responsibilities As the Permanent Director of Finance, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 1. Overseeing the financial health of the organization by developing and implementing sound financial strategies, maintaining financial controls, and making key decisions to improve profitability and long-term success. 2. Preparing and managing the company’s budget, ensuring all departments adhere to their financial plans, and conducting regular budget reviews to identify cost-saving opportunities. 3. Managing all aspects of financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards. 4. Overseeing cash flow management, ensuring sufficient funds are available for achieving business objectives and supporting growth initiatives. 5. Managing payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment to all employees, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. 6. Utilizing QuickBooks Online for all financial operations, including invoicing, expense tracking, and financial reporting. 7. Collaborating with other department heads to align financial management with short and long-term operational strategies and objectives. Qualifications The ideal candidate for the Permanent Director of Finance role should possess the following qualifications: 1. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, preferably in the Accounting Finance industry. 3. Proven experience with budget development and oversight, financial reporting, cash flow management, and payroll. 4. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and other financial management software. 5. Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting processes. 6. Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. 7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strategic and analytical mindset. 8. Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information in clear terms to non-financial personnel. 9.
