Overview
GovCIO is currently hiring for a Network Analyst. This position is
fully remote.
Responsibilities
The Network Analyst will be expected to:
Monitor for threats and vulnerabilities through a combination of
automated and manual processes and respond; accordingly, research
and develop risk mitigating approaches and drive response and
remediation.
Implement automation and orchestration to improve efficiency and
effectiveness of security monitoring and response processes;
document processes and procedures in the form of playbooks and
reference guides; stay abreast of the latest information security
controls, practices, techniques and capabilities in the
marketplace, as well as evolving threats
Minimum three years of recent and relevant experience in security
monitoring, security operations, and incident response activities;
preferably within a professional services firm or similar
environment
Provides analysis/validation of remediation actions taken,
opportunities for improvement and out of the box thinking for
optimizations and solving roadblocks
Coordinate directly with system owners, administrators, and
security officers regarding the mitigation of identified
vulnerabilities.
Work with Client Engineering or Network Operations to develop and
implement vulnerability remediation efforts
Should have experience remediating vulnerabilities in a Workstation
(Windows 10) environment
Should have experience remediating vulnerabilities in a Windows
Server 2016 Environment.
Qualifications
Minimum of Five (5) or more years of experience in defining
computer security requirements for high level applications,
evaluation of approved security product capabilities and developing
solutions to security problems.
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems,
Engineering, Business or other related scientific or technical
discipline and 5 years' experience. Acceptable substitute would be
an advanced degree in the same fields and 2 years' experience.

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected
for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base
pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors,
including market location, job-related knowledge, skills,
education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation
package for this position may also include other compensation
elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired,
employee will be in an "at-will position" and the GovCIO reserves
the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary
payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons
related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual
department/team performance, and market factors.
Posted Salary Range
USD $75,000.00 - USD $85,000.00 /Yr.
